BC Pizza Crust & Sauce Review

Here I am with my tummy rumbling saying "It's lunch time!" Around this time last week my daughter came to me and said that she wanted to help me make pizza! We had been watching The Food Network and they made homemade pizza dough and topped it with some wierd toppings. Then we also went to eat at a new restaurant and they had shrimp pizza! My daughter freaked out! Anywho so when we went shopping that weekend I thought I'd try this "Just Add Water" dough. I usually make my own or buy the ready made pizza dough. Plus, I figured that it would be easy for my daughter to help me... Then we had to pick our ingredients. We already had meat and cheese at home, so then it was the sauce. Well, right next to the pizza dough mix my daughter saw Pizza Quick Ragu pizza sauce. So I grabbed it. It wasn't a bad prize. The total was under $3.00! That's awesome for a pizza.

When we got home we started right away! I browned the meat while my daughter shredded the cheese and daddy watched. Thanks to my uncle he gave me a pizza stone a couple years ago for Christmas. I use it all the time!

Here's our pizza going into the oven!

It only took about 15 minutes to the crust to cook and the cheese to melt. There was only two dishes to wash, bowl and a fork that we used to mix the dough. The instructions say to mix the dough and water a few times and let it rest for five minutes. Tada! You're done. I let it sit a bit longer while I washed the dishes. Then we put in about 4 tbls of sauce, 1/4 cup cheese and 1/2 cup ground beef. A bath time away the pizza was done. It looked soo good!
When hubby saw the pizza he asked to put a bit more cheese on top and it melted right away, YUM!!

Cost: Very Affordable:
Most of us already have meat and cheese in stock, so this isn't a very expensive meal. It can feat about a family of four which makes it under $1.00 per person.

Preparation: 8-10 minutes
It was very easy to prepare. It take a few minutes to get the dough ready, brown the meat and grate the cheese. If you have kids, get them to help you or hubby to have an italian dinner date night!

Cooking
Time
: 15 minutes
The package of the dough recommends 12 minutes, but I left it a bit longer to get it a bit crispier.

Texture
: Soft and crunchy!
I like a thin crunchy pizza, my husband likes it a bit softer. He did not have a problem with this pizza, he said he couldn't wait for me to make another one! The sauce was nice and blended well into the dough and ingredients.

Taste
: Right on!
Of course it depends on your own taste, but you can literally add whatever you like! You can even add some spices to the dough to give it a bit more flavor. The sauce was just right as well, not too spicy and not too tomatoey.

Smell
: Meaty!
We used ground beef as the topping and that's what we smelled as soon as it came out of the oven. You can also smell the dough.
Overall: Extra Large
This dough and sauce was right on!

Ungrateful during Thanksgiving?

Hubby made me cry on Thanksgiving.... The usual share what you're thankful for, he just went all out talking about how we had one of the toughest years and we were apart from each other for six months and how much he missed us and it just sucked. Ohhhh, the waterfalls!! But yeah, it was the longest year ever. Speaking of Thanksgiving.... HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Reminds me of something that's been on my mind....

We just moved out of the valley and guess what?! The worst part moving to a new place was not the moving. Before we moved I scoped out our neighborhood, grocery stores, parks and I joined several mom groups. I knew negative Nancy’s were bound to share their troubles in Facebook groups but I’ve never heard so many complaints in one day.

I don’t know what it is but I don’t like when people complain. I just think to myself, “Did you really have to share that?” or about an easy solution to that complaint. There would have been a better way to spend your time than writing a n…
