A Time to Give

Here is my second weeks post for A Time to Give. I love this post it makes me aware and pleased to help others and read the other things that people do to help others.

Well, I live in deep south texas, minutes from the Mexcio border, and there are many people that stuggle every day to get their kids to school. Some live in Mexico with their parents, but the children are American citizens. Well, I know that most of them don't get to eat breakfast because everyone is always in a rush. Well, today, I made mini sausage & egg burritos. I put them all in a reusable bag and gave them to my daughter to hand out to her classmates. Most of the time the cafeteria only gives cold breakfasts and the kids that there late don't get a chance to eat or finish their breakfast. So I hope that everyone got to eat breakfast today. I also included a mini lolipop for after school. It makes me feel so good to help those in need, when we need help ourselves as well.

If you want to do something similar with your children's classrooms, just be sure to let your teacher know ahead of time.

  1. I don't know that I would have ever thought of this. The kids probably LOVED these! And their tummies were full and ready to learn. What a great way to give!
