Menu Plan Monday -- 9/14

OMG, this week was total chaos because my sister came down for about 4 days! And hubby didn't help because he just wanted to go out to eat! I asked him this week if he would comply and we compramised that we would only meal plan for the week and leave three days (lunch or dinner) free incase he gets the urge! All in all, I had to skip out on the enchiladas and the pizza. The pizza I was fine with because I hadn't gone shopping for the pizza ingredients. I also only have chicken breasts (boneless) and some steaks left in the freezer! I pride myself in using everything I have first, before going out and buying extras.

So here's my meal plan for the week mostly made out of things from my pantry

Breakfast:
Oatmeal
Cereal
Cheese Omlet
Sausage & Egg
Breakfast Burrito

Lunch:
Hamburger Helper
OTE
Grilled Chicken bean & corn salad
Tuna Melts
Leftovers

Dinner:
Ckn Enchiladas
Pizza w/Apple & Pecan salad
Chicken Spaghetti w/sliced carrots
Leftovers
OTE

This weeks menu was mostly made out of items in stock! Only things I have to buy this week is ground beef, apples, tortillas and pizza toppings! Head on over to OrgJunkie.com to view more meal plans from other bloggers!

Breakfast burrito

beef
chicken

  1. Pizza with apple & pecan salad sounds terrific! I love salads with fruits and nuts, but my husband likes only traditional salad ingredients. Every so often I'll add some almonds or dried cranberries to my salad, though. :)

Ungrateful during Thanksgiving?

Hubby made me cry on Thanksgiving.... The usual share what you're thankful for, he just went all out talking about how we had one of the toughest years and we were apart from each other for six months and how much he missed us and it just sucked. Ohhhh, the waterfalls!! But yeah, it was the longest year ever. Speaking of Thanksgiving.... HAPPY THANKSGIVING! Reminds me of something that's been on my mind....

We just moved out of the valley and guess what?! The worst part moving to a new place was not the moving. Before we moved I scoped out our neighborhood, grocery stores, parks and I joined several mom groups. I knew negative Nancy’s were bound to share their troubles in Facebook groups but I’ve never heard so many complaints in one day.

I don’t know what it is but I don’t like when people complain. I just think to myself, “Did you really have to share that?” or about an easy solution to that complaint. There would have been a better way to spend your time than writing a n…
